MACM – Thank You!

Thank you for attending my “Ding Happens!” session at the 2011 MACM conference. I had a great time – you were a really fantastic and fun group to present for!

Below is a list of books I referenced (some I didn’t name, but I definitely got ideas from them) as well as some articles that I wrote around some of those ideas. The two free downloads are at the bottom of this page.

But first, take a look at some of my blatant propaganda!

Information About What I Do

The primary way I grow my business is by having wonderful people (like yourself) who have seen me speak refer me to others. I would love your help with that!

Here is a quick overview of what I do. If you are interested or think your organization would be interested, please let me know. If you know someone else who would be interested, I would very much appreciate a three-way email intro.

Keynotes

Free E-Book!

I just finished and released my new FREE E-Book:  Smart Ass Success! 7 Steps to Getting What You Really Want – Even If You Have No Idea What That Is!

This is an awesome 36 page downloadable PDF E-Book which is packed with content – this is not “fluffy” e-book which teases you with a bunch of good sounding info you can’t use. Oh no, not at all…

Download your free copy here:

Smart Ass Success! 7 Steps to Getting What You Really Want – Even If You Have No Idea What That Is!

(Note: You will have to enter your email address on that page. This is so I will know who has an interest in that topic; those people may receive a few extra things along the way. Don’t worry, no matter how many times you add your email, you will only receive one copy of an email from me – provided it’s the same email of course! The system automatically removes duplicates)

Stay Connected

By giving me your email, you will receive an email from me about once every 1-2 weeks with articles, information, and special deals. However, here are a few more ways to stay connected:

The following articles address some of the topics I talked about in the presentation:

Books:

The Artist’s Way – Great book on creativity. The “Morning Pages” exercise I referenced in the creativity section of the program is from here. (Get it on Amazon)

Influence – Robert Cialidini’s excellent book on six techniques organizations and people use to get others to do what they want. (Get it on Amazon)

The Invisible Gorilla – This is a cool book that explains how our intuition, perceptions, and common sense are often wrong. A very eye-opening read…(Get it on Amazon)

Little Bets – A very cool book about how to make big breakthroughs and innovations by taking little steps, which is very similar in concept to “Yes, And.” The book even has a chapter on “Play” and “Improvisation” in it. (Get it on Amazon)

Impro for Storytellers – My favorite book on improv comedy. If you want to learn more about straight improv comedy performance, I highly recommend this book. (Get it on Amazon)
