Blog Posts of Awesomeness Past
You ever one of those days when you just feel blocked, where the words won’t flow? I do. Right now. At this moment, I have nothing awesome to say…
Since I recently posted a lesson I learned about being awesome, and how you shouldn’t post something unless it’s awesome, I have decided not to force some average words onto the blog just to get something done.
Instead, I will share with you some past posts from this blog. Though some of these were written a while ago, they are all timely right now…
If you are a new reader (welcome!) then you may not have seen these. If you’ve been around for a while (thank you!) you may enjoy these “oldie-but-goodies!”

Lessons from the Dresden Files
The latest book in Jim Butcher’s awesome “Dresden Files” series, Ghost Story came out recently. I finished reading it and as usual, it was great. Not the best in the series, but still a great read. Here’s a post I wrote about how you can use the same principles Jim Butcher uses to write his novels to help you market you business and stand out in a crowd:

Back to School
For many, this coming Tuesday represents “back to school time.” Boo! Some students and teachers are already back at school. Double boo! This is a post about the last day of school how you can build certain principles into your own life to create the same sense of excitement kids and teachers feel at the end of the school year, even if you don’t get a summer vacation:

The Reboot of DC Comics
DC comics, publisher of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and many, many others, is “re-booting” their entire universe. Basically, they are starting all their books over from scratch so even if you have never read a DC Comic before, you can start reading and get all the stories from the start. I don’t know how it’s going to go (I haven’t read DC Comics – or any others, really – in quite a while). However, this did seem like an appropriate time to link to a post on success lesson you can learn from the Superfriends:

New Speaking Page
Ok, I’ll admit it. One of the reasons the awesome hasn’t been flowing super well is that I have been using a lot of my creative energy to re-do the speaking information on this web site. If you plan events for your company or association, know someone who plans events for a company or association, or are just curious to see the new speaking info, you can see it here:
